I just started chuckling as I got on here and saw that my last post was Christmas sugar cookie cutouts. Which I hope you have made by now. You can cut them out as pencils and apples for back to school treats, you know. They're THE best.
But for once, I'm not here to talk to you about food. Because we just moved across the country from Laramie, Wyoming to...
...St. Louis, Missouri!
And by "just" I mean three months ago. Heh heh. Also, excuse my kid's fingers on the camera there. I'm just happy he's old enough to take a photo for us.
I don't post a ton about my life on here, but as you may recall from when I posted about my wedding (which was NINE years ago yesterday!!), Samuel is from a big family. He's the second youngest of 12 kids and his dad and NINE of his brothers are pastors.
So, basically what I'm saying is that I should have seen this move coming. Samuel has decided to go to seminary here in St. Louis to become a pastor too. He'll start next fall and until then he'll continue working remotely and also doing lots of preparatory study.
It was so sad saying goodbye to our home and friends and family in Wyoming. We had an amazing 6 years there with the best people and such amazing adventures. But we're also so excited for the adventures ahead. And I'm also comforted by all the GREEN and WATER. For all the amazing things about Wyoming, my midwestern heart missed this...
